Will you make money from surveys? The answer is yes, no and maybe depending on
who you are and how much you want to succeed at doing surveys.
They are a proven way to make money online, but are not for everyone. It really
is up to the individual, just like most things in life. Truth is; there is just no
way that any person can tell you for sure precisely how much money you will make.
Some people make thousands every month, others a few hundred dollars and some give
up before even getting started.
I can however give you a guide to how much you could make with online paid
surveys, but it is only a guide as your actual level of success will depend on you.
The important starting point is to register with several survey directories as they
update their databases of survey opportunities frequently. Some surveys pay $5,
others will pay considerably more, maybe $65. Some will pay in vouchers and others
in prizes. There is no hard and fast rule. The main thing is you have to be
involved to get paid.
You don't need to particapate in every survey you get offered. You can pick and
choose.
The other thing to understand is that the longer you are involved and the more
surveys you complete, the more likely you are to be offered some high paid surveys.
Don't expect to be offered these from day one. The market research people will want
to have proof that you are providing accurate answers and that you are a reliable
participant.
Join Focus Groups And Research Panels To Make
Money
After you have proved your worth, you will probably be invited to join one or
two focus groups. These can be a good way to make money as the payouts are usually
reasonably generous (sometimes $100 to $250).
Focus groups or research panels as they are often called, are like group
discussions. The focus groups are usually quite small (maybe a dozen people).
Participants in these research panels are asked about their opinions, beliefs,
perceptions, and attitudes towards a service, a product, a brand, aconcept, an
advertisement, an idea, or some packaging. Join focus groups when given the
opportunity.
As I said, how much money you get paid to take surveys, or participate focus
groups and research panels, really depends on how YOU personally approach this home
based internet job. No two people are the same.

The amount of money you will receive for each survey or focus group varies
between research companies and countries. A lot will depend on the amount of time
you allocate and how much time each one takes you to complete. Some surveys may pay
between $1 and $5, others will pay more. Most will however be at the lower end of
this scale, so the more you do the more money you make. If you fill in several
surveys per hour the earnings can really add up.
