It takes courage to ignore people when they tell you you're crazy. Although I have found that friends and family are more polite. They usually react by taking a sharp intake of breath. Then they politely ask a lot of doubting questions like -

"Do you really think it's going to work?"

"Are others doing okay at it?"

"I guess if you think you can do it?"

They may not call you crazy to your face. They may even tell you how they admire your courage, which is a polite way of saying; they think you're stupid. Now if that's not inspiration destroying, I don't know what is.

The truth is - They don't want to see you get hurt. They are doubtful; because it is something they wouldn't do themselves. If you listen to them, you will begin to doubt yourself. Fears will begin to penetrate your mind.

What if they are right? Well, yes they might be, but don't let them project their fears onto you. That's them and you are you! They probably wouldn't be prepared to put in the effort to make things work, whereas, you most probably would be.

The truth is they probably envy you. When you ask most people what they want in life, they use words like: to be happy, to become wealthy, more time with the family. They want this and yet complain about stress, lack of money, job boredom etc.

To become wealthy requires vision, planning and “stickability.”

In my experience most people, although yearning for freedom and wealth, will opt to remain in their comfort zone.

Many people fear success, because with success comes change. Most us want to become wealthy, but none of us likes to fail!
